Yoga as a way of life
I’ve been practicing yoga since 2010, initially I was drawn to it for strength and flexibility and general body maintenance during my dance career. In 2013, I had a sudden shift in understanding and experiencing what yoga was really about and I’ve been hooked ever since. I’ve explored spirituality, consciousness and the mind-body connection in so many ways over the years, trialing various healing tools, but I feel yoga is my staple practice that will never leave me.
Yoga practice can always be adapted to suit what is needed in a particular phase of life, for me I required yin yin yin for a long while to balance the yang that I was adopting in daily life.
Yoga is a way of life, a way of being and its teachings are so rich, it really is an honor to have received and be able pass on the wisdom of this ancient philosophy.
My yoga classes are varied and adaptable, the flow is slow and blends Hatha and Vinyasa styles with an emphasis on alignment, pranayama and bringing presence and awareness to the somatic experience.
